Tirana under communism, 2.5 km

Until 1991 the liveliest part of today's Tirana was closed to ordinary people. This walk starts at the Postblloku memorial, passes Enver Hoxha's villa in the Blloku and heads down to Skanderbeg Square, where the dictator's statue was pulled down. Then you go underground into the former Interior Ministry's nuclear bunker and finish at Tirana Castle and the new Namazgah Mosque. About 2.5 km, mostly flat. Bunk'Art 2 charges an entry fee.
