KuJan Pro is an optional subscription that costs €3.99/week. It exists because live transit tracking for Tirana — the live map, all bus and train lines, stop departure boards, journey planning and every landmark page — is free and stays free. Pro extends the app beyond Tirana and lifts the limits on the features a frequent traveller runs into.
What the free tier includes: real-time bus positions across Tirana, every line and stop, departure boards with delay indicators, A→B journey planning with walking directions, arrival alerts for your trip, the full landmark and attraction guide for all of Albania, ferry ports and border crossings, emergency mode, and up to three saved items (stops, routes or places).
What Pro adds: guided tours and tourist collections (Classic, Art, Food…); unlimited saves (stations, routes, places); unlocking every city in Albania; the city switcher on the map; exclusive future features.
What Pro does not change: the transit data itself. Bus positions, schedules, stop departure boards and arrival predictions are identical for free and Pro users — Pro does not buy a better GPS feed, extra lines or more accurate ETAs. It buys geographic coverage beyond Tirana and removes the convenience limits, nothing more. Being explicit about that matters: paying for a transport app should not leave you wondering whether the free version was showing you worse data.
Pro is tied to your KuJan account, so it needs one — email and password, or sign-in with Google. Subscribing takes you to Stripe Checkout and back to the app; the subscription then follows your account across every device you sign in on, including the installed PWA on phones, so there is nothing to buy twice.
Pro is billed weekly in euro through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time from the customer portal in your account menu — there is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe; KuJan never sees or stores your card number.
Tirana is the free zone — everything in it works without an account or a subscription. Pro unlocks the remaining 11 cities below, each with its own landmarks, attractions and practical visitor information.
