Mosque The Lead Mosque

The Lead Mosque (Xhamia e Plumbit) is one of Shkodër’s most remarkable Ottoman monuments. Built in the 18th century by Mehmet Pasha Bushati, it is famous for its many lead-covered domes, an unusual architectural feature that gives the mosque its name. Set near the Buna River, the mosque is a striking example of Shkodër’s Ottoman heritage.
