Site of Witness and Memory is a former place of communist persecution in Shkodër, now preserved as a memorial and museum space. Through preserved cells, personal testimonies and historical exhibits, the site reveals the experiences of people who were imprisoned and persecuted by the communist regime. It offers visitors a powerful and intimate insight into one of the darkest chapters of Albania’s recent history.
