Temenosi
Archaeological Site
The Temenos was the sacred area of ancient Apollonia, organized around the Temple of Apollo. It occupied one of the city’s two main hilltops and included religious structures, retaining walls, sanctuaries, cisterns and the monumental Temenos Gate.
