Pëllumbas Cave, also known as the Black Cave, is one of Albania's most remarkable natural monuments. Formed millions of years ago, the cave stretches for over 360 meters and features impressive stalactites, stalagmites, and underground chambers. It is also an important archaeological site, where remains of the extinct cave bear have been discovered. Reached by a scenic hiking trail, the cave is a favorite destination for adventure seekers and nature lovers.
⚠️ Wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring a flashlight, as parts of the cave are dark and the trail can be steep. Avoid touching the rock formations to help preserve this natural monument.
