Archaeological Site Byllis Archaeological Park

Byllis Archaeological Park preserves the ruins of one of the most important ancient Illyrian cities in southern Albania, founded around the 4th century BC. The site includes impressive fortification walls, an ancient theater with a capacity of about 7,500 spectators, a stadium, agora, stoas, temples, water systems, and early Christian basilicas with beautiful mosaics. Perched on a hill above the Vjosa Valley, the park also offers spectacular panoramic views.
