Orthodox Cathedral of Resurrection

Church Orthodox Cathedral of Resurrection

The Orthodox Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ is the largest Orthodox church in Albania and the central seat of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania. Inaugurated in 2012, it is one of Tirana's most important religious and architectural landmarks. The cathedral complex includes the main worship hall, a bell tower, a museum, a library, cultural facilities, and community spaces. With its impressive dome and monumental architecture, the cathedral stands as a symbol of the revival of Orthodox Christianity in Albania following the country's period of state atheism.
