Koman Lake and the Shalë River form one of the most spectacular natural landscapes in northern Albania. The turquoise waters of the Shalë River meet the dramatic fjord-like scenery of Koman Lake, surrounded by steep mountains, rocky cliffs and lush vegetation. The area is especially popular for boat trips, kayaking, sightseeing and photography.
