The Big Tower of Bushatllij is a historic fortified residence associated with the powerful Bushatllij family, who ruled the Pashalik of Shkodër during the 18th century. Built in the traditional style of northern Albanian fortified houses, the tower reflects the wealth, influence and defensive architecture of one of the most important families in Shkodër’s history.
