Sardë Castle is a medieval fortified settlement located on an island in the Vau i Dejës Lake, in the Shkodër region. The ruins preserve traces of the medieval city of Sardë, including defensive walls, towers and the remains of churches. The site is particularly remarkable for its isolated setting and the way its archaeological remains rise from the waters of the lake, offering a unique glimpse into the medieval history of northern Albania.
