Rozafa Castle is one of Albania’s most legendary fortresses, standing on a rocky hill above the meeting point of the Buna, Drin and Kiri rivers. With origins reaching back to antiquity, the castle has witnessed Illyrian, Roman, Venetian and Ottoman periods. Its massive walls, ancient ruins and spectacular views make Rozafa one of the essential historical landmarks to visit in Shkodër.
