Castle
Ndroqi Castle is a historic fortress located on a hill above the village of Ndroq, near the Erzen River valley, southwest of Tirana. Built between the 4th and 6th centuries AD, the castle was part of the defensive system connected with Durrës and other fortifications around Tirana, such as Petrelë and Dorëz. From the top of the hill, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Tirana, Durrës, and surrounding castles. Today, the remains of the castle are an important historical attraction for visitors interested in Albania’s ancient heritage.
