Castle
Ishëm Castle is a historic fortress located near the village of Ishëm, north of Durrës. Built during the Ottoman period, the castle was strategically positioned to control the surrounding area and important routes between the coast and inland Albania. Its remaining walls and fortifications provide a glimpse into the region’s military and historical heritage.
