Skoranë Gorge is located along the course of the Erzen River, near the Black Cave (Pëllumbas Cave) and the village of Pëllumbas. The gorge is a remarkable karst ecosystem, formed over time by the erosive action of the Erzen River. It cuts through the limestone formations of Mount Pashkashesh to the northwest and Mount Pashtresh to the southeast. Skoranë Gorge is valued for its scientific, educational, cultural, ecological, aesthetic, and local tourism significance.
