Foiníki Ancient Theater is one of the most impressive monuments of the ancient city of Phoinike. Originally built in the early 4th century BC and rebuilt several times, the theater reached a diameter of about 129.5 metres and could accommodate around 17,000 people. It also served as a major gathering place for the Epirote community.
