Xhamia e Et'hem Beut
Mosque
An Ottoman mosque on Skanderbeg Square, begun in the late 18th century and completed in the 1820s by Haxhi Et’hem Bey. It is known for its rare frescoes of trees, waterfalls and bridges. Its reopening in 1991 became a symbol of regained religious freedom.
