How can we define the mysterious energy that unites us all, that goes far beyond our differences, particularities, and systems of belief?
The energy that brings us together in the streets, in village squares, or at the heart of our cities? The energy that makes us get up from the sofa, that drives and moves us, that travels like a wave from one body to another and conveys a shared instinct when we are confronted with injustice, social inequality, and the wealth gap?
From Antiquity, through the Age of Enlightenment and into the present day, history is filled with these sporadic uprisings, fueled by a dream or a yearning desire for utopia, but more often by a vital necessity.
This raw energy, this movement of bodies, rises like a living barrier, changing shape like a murmuration of starlings that scatter and regroup in the distance. It is this wild beauty, nourished by the energy of despair, dreaming of igniting a spark of renewal, that I want to circulate through bodies like pure joy. The hope is that this rebellious dance will create a space through which the most beautiful current of togetherness can flow—the most powerful feeling of freedom, the deepest fraternal bond.
