As part of the 115th anniversary of the birth of the renowned Albanian poet and writer Migjeni, an artistic performance entitled “Migjeni – and the sparrow suffered from melancholy…” will take place on October 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the “Marin Barleti” Public Library in Shkodër. The performance is based on the author’s prose.
The event aims to offer an artistic approach to Migjeni’s work by interweaving the written word, stage performance, and instrumental music. Through a performance by Astrit Fani, accompanied musically by instrumentalists Jetmir Mesi and Erion Lishi, audiences will have the opportunity to rediscover Migjeni’s literary world, the distinctive sensitivity of his prose, and the continuing relevance of the messages conveyed by his work.
