Dajti is the mountain you see from every street in Tirana. The cable car takes you up to 1,050 metres in about 15 minutes, where the national park trails start through beech and pine forest. Dajti peak, around 1,613 metres, takes a long walk. Tujan peak, the Brar Canyon and Kurth Lake are closer and quieter. Autumn is the best time for the colours of the forest. The cable car is paid and its hours change with the season.
