Lake Koman is the Drin river held back by a dam, narrow as a fjord between the cliffs. From the Koman dam, boats go to the turquoise Shala River, or on to Fierzë, where the road continues to Bajram Curri and the Valbonë valley. There you will find stone towers, wooden bridges, an old mill and trails up the mountain. Plan two days. The boats run mainly from spring to autumn: confirm the timetable before you go.
